  • Roxanne McKoy

    Roxanne McKoy

    LEAD PRESCHOOL TEACHER

My name is Roxanne, also known as Miss Roxy here at The Park. I am a Mother of two incredible daughters and have a loving husband. My oldest graduates from high school this year and my youngest is in elementary school. My family and I moved to Okotoks from Fort McMurray seven years ago. We instantly fell in love with the community and are proud to call Okotoks home.

Throughout all my careers I have always found myself drawn to a nurturing role. I have had past nursing experience caring for children and elderly and prior to The Park I worked at Montessori preschool. This is where I began my passion as an assistant teacher. The preschool unfortunately had to close and thats when I found The Park. Since the first day in 2020 when I walked through the door, I knew this was the place I was meant to be.

The Park has brought me so much joy. Building relationships through both the drop in and Creative Kids Preschool program with both the children and families and watching them grow is very special to be a part of. Our Creative Kids preschool program is very special and unique and seeing the positive transformation in the kids who attend is so gratifying.

I couldn’t ask for a better team to be a part of and working alongside with women who have so much love to give to our community is a true blessing.

The Park is the place to be, both as staff and customers.

  • Breanne Wintemute

    PRESCHOOL TEACHING ASSISTANT

Hello! I’m Breanne, also known as Miss B! My journey with The Park began over three years back, starting as a volunteer and now specializing in private rentals and all things party-related! Balancing my senior year at Summit West Independent School in Okotoks, you'll catch me spending my weekends working at The Park, aside from my position at the Park I also have a local respite position. When I’m not working I also enjoy to spend time with my friends, trying new things, and self care! What makes this place so special to me is how it highlights the essence of communication and the beauty of gathering to celebrate life’s little joys with loved ones. My time here has fueled a passion for working with kids, pushing me to set my sights on nurturing that passion after high school. My primary goal within The Park is to leave a positive imprint on every person walking through our doors, whether they're little or grown. It's about spreading warmth and creating lasting smiles, and I'm grateful to be a part of that!

  • Neveah Bernier

    PARTY COORDINATOR

Hi! I’m Nev, also known as Miss Nev. My journey with The Park began just last year. I started as a volunteer, and worked my way up to be a party corrdinator for private rentals! As of now I am in grade 11 at Foothills Composite High School, here in Okotoks. During my weekends you can see me doing what I love most, creating smiles and connections at The Park. When I’m off school and work I love to spend time with people who mean the most to me, explore the outdoors and go snowboarding during the winter. The thing I love about The Park the most is the kids I get to meet and have experiences with. They always come in with the brightest smiles on their faces, which makes me light up with joy. Getting to be in presence of these little lights, who aren’t afraid of judgement, showing who they are, expressing themselves and using their imagination drives my passion. It inspires me to be myself to the fullest. I don’t just love the kids but everyone who comes into The Park. I love the relationships I get to make and the conversations I get to experience. The Park has such a warm, calm and inviting atmosphere it just makes every encounter filled with positivity and excitement.

  • Makayla Berge

    PARTY COORDINATOR

Hello! I’m Makayla or Miss Makayla. I started my journey with the park at the end of last year and I am proud to be a party co-ordinator for private rentals. I am currently a grade 11 student at Holy Trinity Academy in Okotoks. I’m dedicated to my studies and hope to have a career where I can make a difference after I graduate. Spending my weekends in the warm supportive atmosphere that is The Park makes it feel as if this dream is already becoming a reality. It brings me so much joy to be able to make connections at every party with the little one’s and their families. When I’m not at work or school I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, reading and baking. I love working with kids and doing everything that I can to make sure that their birthday party is special. My favourite part of working at the Park is everything I learn through the connections I make and the opportunity to put a smile on every face walking through the door. I’m grateful to be a part of the Park community. Sara and Gavin have brought together a team of girls who are all unique and creative but equally pure of heart! I am inspired by customers and co-workers everytime I am at work. The atmosphere at The Park is full of positivity and creativity and I am proud to be a part of it.

  • Layla Jones

    PARTY COORDINATOR

Hey there! I’m Layla. My journey with The Park has been a truly amazing experience. I’ve had the opportunity  to know Gavin and Sara for the past few years, but just recently, I began working here. It has been so rewarding to be part of this incredible team and help make every celebration as special as possible. I’m currently in grade 12, and when I’m not in school, you’ll find me doing what I love; creating smiles and meaningful connections at The Park. I spend my weekends here helping with parties, making sure each one is a memorable experience for everyone. During my free time, I volunteer at my local animal shelter, foster puppies, and spend as much time outdoors as I can, whether it’s hiking, relaxing by the lake, or exploring new places. What I enjoy most about working at The Park is the kids I get to meet. Their excitement, imagination, and joy brightens the room, and getting to be apart of their special moments makes this job so fulfilling. The Park is such a welcoming and positive space, and I’m grateful to be part of it!
